I am committed to offering inclusive, affirming therapy that recognises and supports the many ways people experience and express sexuality and connection.

My approach is integrative, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic models, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), to tailor our work to your unique needs and preferences.

I have a background in healthcare and am currently training as a Dietitian, as well as a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist. This gives me a holistic understanding of how physical health, emotional wellbeing and relational dynamics often intertwine. This perspective informs my work, especially when supporting clients navigating issues related to body image, sexual functioning, self-esteem, or the impact of life stage transitions on intimacy and relationships.

I’m in the final year of a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy, and I’m a Student member of COSRT, the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.

I draw from various models of therapy that recognise the uniqueness of people and work to help you feel more connected to your emotional, romantic and sexual intimacy.

I can help you process past experiences, and move towards the kind of relationship you want with sex, and to feel empowered in a way that feels right for you.

I understand how difficult it can be to have the language to talk about these topics and I hope you’ll be able to find the answers you need here.

I advocate a safe, warm, confidential and non-judgemental space to allow you to be authentic and express your thoughts and feelings freely and without reservation.

My role is to help you identify your sexually authentic self; the way you feel about sex, and the relationship you want to have with sex.

I draw from various models of therapy that recognise the uniqueness of the individual and work to help you feel more connected to your emotional, romantic and sexual intimacy. I can help you process the past experiences that are affecting you, and move towards the kind of relationship you want with sex, and to feel empowered in a way that feels right for you.

I hold a Foundation Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy and I’m in my final year at the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology training as a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist.

I’m a Student member of COSRT, the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.

ZOE YESSAIAN

Psychosexual and Relationship Psychotherapist

I’m an empathetic and passionate Psychosexual and Relationship Psychotherapist, working with both individuals and relationships.

I hold a strong belief that sexual and relationship problems are just as important as any other health issues and should be seen and treated with the same priority. Sex, intimacy and connection are basic human needs.

In-person sessions

  • £80 for individuals
  • £100 for relationships

I also offer online therapy

  • £75 for individuals

I specialise in helping individuals and partners navigate challenges related to sex, desire, intimacy and communication. I work with all varieties of sexual and relationship issues, including all sexual dysfunctions such as erectile dysfunction and vaginismus. In addition, I also have a special interest in working with those affected by the impact of cancer on sex, intimacy and relationships.

I provide a safe, open, non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your feelings and concerns. I’m passionate about creating a space where shame has no place and where you feel able to share openly with me. With over 12 years’ experience as a Senior Mental Health Nurse working both in the NHS and private sector, I bring a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health and emotional wellbeing to my practise.

My approach is integrative, which means I use different psychological theories, tools and techniques to best meet your needs and personality. I don’t believe one size fits all, and being creative in our work together is important for therapy to be effective. I incorporate elements of person-centered therapy, psychodynamic theory in exploring and understanding how past experiences play a role in how we think, feel and relate to ourselves and others, and attachment theory in how our experiences of our first relationships impact us throughout our lives. I also practice with a trauma-informed approach and will often use cognitive behavioural therapy when working with some sexual dysfunctions.

I work with all genders, sexualities, cultures, religions and relationship types.

I’m a Registered Member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT).
