Our fees

We believe therapy should be accessible to everyone regardless of their financial situation, so we offer a wide range of fees, starting at £35.

Therapy is an investment in you

As with any investment – money, time or energy – you want it to be worthwhile. Therapy is no different. You’re investing so much of yourself emotionally – as well as your time and money – so it has to be worth it. This article from Good Therapy explains how therapy can be a very wise investment.

Free Consultation

We know that choosing a therapist isn’t always easy, so all of our therapists offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation.

This is an opportunity for you to meet one of us, so you can decide if we’re a good fit for each other.

We’ll discuss your current difficulties and your hopes for therapy. And the therapist will explain how they work and how they can help you.

FAQ

Why are trainee therapists more affordable?

Our trainee therapists are already qualified as therapists or in related professions.

An essential part of their specialist psychosexual and relationship therapy training is gaining experience (usually 150 hours) at a clinical placement. This enables practices like Your Time To Talk to offer much lower cost therapy.

Benefits of working with trainee therapists include fresh perspectives, up-to-date evidence-based practices, smaller caseloads, and greater supervision.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Yes. Many of our therapists offer a sliding scale.

Can I use health insurance?

Not for the low cost service, but some of our qualified therapists are registered with health insurers. Ask us during your discovery chat.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel a session. If it is less than that, we may charge for the missed session, unless there are exceptional circumstances or we can rearrange.

What if I am not sure which type of therapy I need?

We offer a free 15-20 minute discovery chat on Zoom to see if a therapist feels like a good fit and to help you decide which type of therapy might be right for you.
