Relationship & Sex Therapy, Counselling and Psychotherapy

We’re a warm and welcoming team of therapists with a passion for helping people gain insight, be more fulfilled, build happy and healthy relationships, and improve their sexual wellbeing.

Inclusive and affordable | Online and in-person

We are committed to working affirmatively within diversity, especially gender, sexual, erotic and relationship diversity.

We believe therapy should be available to everyone, so our trainee therapists (in their final year of training) offer low-cost relationship and sex therapy.

We also have a team of carefully chosen, fully-qualified and experienced therapists who offer a range of fees. We choose our therapists because of their commitment to working within diversity and with people from marginalised communities.

As well as relationship therapy and sex therapy, we also offer short-term counselling and longer-term psychotherapy.

And because we work online, we can work with you wherever you are! We also have Therapists as in numerous locations in the South and South West of England, as well as in London and Newcastle

Relationship therapy

Positive relationships contribute to a long, healthy and happy life. But what if things aren’t going so well? Relationship therapy can help with all sorts of relationship problems, like infidelity, poor communication, conflict, cultural and religious differences, loss of intimacy and sexual connection.

We work with all styles of relationships: with people in monogamous and multi-partnered relationships (non-monogamy, polyamory, etc). And we’re experienced in working with kinky folk too.

Online relationship therapy starts at £55 and in-person from £60.

Sex therapy

Using a bespoke blend of psychotherapy, psychosexual education and supported behavioural change, psychosexual therapy (or simply ‘sex therapy’) can help you understand and overcome any sexual concerns you may have.

These include erectile difficulties; rapid, delayed or absent ejaculation; vaginismus and painful sex; anxiety or fear around sex; loss of desire or arousal; inability to orgasm, and out-of-control sexual behaviour (sometimes called sex or porn addiction).

Online psychosexual therapy starts at £35 and in-person from £40.

Counselling & Psychotherapy

We all find life hard at times.

Shorter-term counselling or longer-term psychotherapy can help you make sense of your feelings and understand yourself and your life better. In time, you will feel more confident and in control, and find a way forward.

We work with people facing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, low self-esteem, stress, emotional, physical or sexual abuse, and trauma.

Online counselling starts at £35 and in-person from £40.

Our team

I’m Di, the Founder and Director of Therapy at Your Time To Talk. I’m an Accredited Psychotherapist, Relationship and Sex Therapist, and Intimacy Coach. I’m also a Supervisor and Tutor for other counsellors and psychotherapists.

As well as me, there’s our team of excellent therapists. Each and every one of us is passionate about helping people gain insight into themselves, be fulfilled, build happy and healthy relationships, and improve their sexual wellbeing.

And then there’s Keeley, our Practice Administrator, who keeps everything running smoothly!

How we work

Everyone is unique, so we tailor our approach to focus on your individual needs. One session may be more about talking and exploring, while the next may be focused on tools and techniques. There will inevitably be ‘homework’ too.

We will never rush you. It’s important that we go at your pace.

Some people feel ok after a few sessions; for others it could be six months, a year or more. You might want to work with a therapist for a set number of sessions to work through a particular issue. Or maybe you want to explore yourself, your relationships and your life more deeply, so longer-term therapy might be right for you.

Low cost Sex Therapy, Relationship Therapy, and Counselling is offered for up to 20 weekly sessions or 12 fortnightly sessions.
