Psychosexual therapy
Using a blend of psychotherapy, education and supported behavioural change, we can help you overcome almost any sexual concern and improve your sexual wellbeing.
When it comes to problems with sex, we don’t just look at what’s going on in your body. We consider what’s going on for you emotionally and psychologically as well. And because sex is so much more than what goes on in the bedroom, we consider sex from three aspects:
-
Biology
The sex we’re assigned at birth based on sex characteristics, including intersex and people born with characteristics that don’t fit binary definitions of male or female. -
Identity
Our sexual orientation - lesbian, gay, bi- and pansexual, asexual, celibate, engaged in BDSM, kink and fetish, etc. -
Practice
What we enjoy, how we play, who we play with, what works and doesn’t work for us. This can often be in conflict with the early messages we receive about sex and sexuality.
How psychosexual therapy can help you

- Inability to have penetrative sex (vaginismus)

We also work with people exploring or committed to gender, sexual or relationship diversity (GSRD), for example:
- Gender or sexual identity, practice and attraction
