Low cost relationship and sex therapy

We believe therapy should be available to everyone, so Your Time To Talk offers low cost relationship and sex therapy for people on low incomes, key workers and students.

In-person low cost relationship and sex therapy

We offer in-person, low cost relationship and sex therapy in eight locations in England: Bath, Brighton, Bristol, Hove, London, Newcastle, Oxford and Poole.

Dominique, Erica, Mary and Tara work at the Practice Rooms in various locations in Bristol.

Evie and Josh work from the Practice Rooms in both Brighton and Hove.

Mary also works at the Practice Rooms in Summertown, Oxford.

Ally, David, Eshana, Heidi, Ilka and Jamila work at the Practice Rooms in north and south London.

And Helen Williams works in Gosforth, Newcastle.

In-person sex and/or relationship starts at £40 per session for individuals and £60 for couples, for up to 20 sessions.

All of our in-person therapists also offer low-cost online sex and relationship therapy.

Online low cost relationship and sex therapy

Low cost relationship and sex therapy can be hard to find, especially if you don’t live in a big city, so we also offer low cost therapy online, which means we can work with you wherever you are in the UK. Unfortunately, as Trainee Psychosexual and Relationship Therapists, none of our low-cost team can work with people living outside of the UK, apart from Marije, who works with people in Europe too.

Online relationship and/or sex therapy costs £35 per session for individuals and £55 per session for couples, for up to 20 sessions.

Our Low Cost Team

Our trainee Psychosexual and Relationship Therapists have all either completed their Counselling/Psychotherapy training or are experienced mental health practitioners in their final year of a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy, or completing a Master’s Degree in Psychosexual Therapy. An essential part of this training is gaining experience working in a therapy practice. This enables Your Time To Talk to offer low cost relationship and sex therapy with therapists whose knowledge is fresh and up to date.

Our low cost therapists come from a wide variety of backgrounds and expertise, including counselling and psychotherapy, medical practice, coaching and teaching, social work, mindfulness, and conflict mediation.

The one thing they all have in common is a passion for supporting people in self-exploration, building healthy and happy relationships, and improving their sexual wellbeing.

Availability

Low-cost therapy is in high demand, so we can’t guarantee you will be able to work with a particular therapist.

There may also be times when all of our low-cost therapists are full. If this is the case, we would be very happy to add you to our waiting list.

ABI WAUD

I'm committed to creating a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you will feel safe to explore your unique experiences when it comes to sex and relationships.

I will strive to help you navigate complex emotions and experiences, fostering self-awareness, healing, and growth.

I work online, so can meet you wherever you are.

My practice is grounded in compassion, inclusivity, and respect for the diverse ways people experience and structure their relationships.

My goal is to support you in building a deeper connection with yourself and those around you.

My journey into therapy began at Cruse Bereavement Care, where I supported clients navigating grief and loss. This experience deepened my understanding of how life’s challenges can impact our sense of self and strain even our closest relationships.

When I decided to focus on psychosexual and relationship therapy, I chose to train in integrative therapy, enabling me to adapt my approach to meet the diverse needs of each client. I firmly believe that no single method suits everyone, and I strive to ensure therapy feels collaborative, inclusive, and supportive of your goals.

In addition to bereavement counselling, I am an Honorary Psychosexual Therapist with the NHS, where I work with individuals and couples on issues such as intimacy, desire, sexual functioning, and communication.

I’m a Student member of CORST, the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.

Online sessions with Abi cost £35 for individuals and £55 for couples.

AISLING MARKS

I do this work because relationships and sexuality are complex, fundamental systems in our human experience, where we can find attunement, belonging and meaning. But many of us were not taught the skills of how to live together with wisdom, courage and creativity.

I welcome your adventure into this work, in all its complexity and contradictions.

I work online, so can meet you wherever you are.

It takes extraordinary courage to bring yourself or your relationship to therapy, so I strive to create a courageous and compassionate space where all of you is welcome.

I work integratively and relationally, drawing upon a variety of modalities. These include Gestalt, Internal Family Systems, Non-Violent Communication, attachment theory and working with the body, breath and movement.

In our sessions, we will work at your pace, led by your process, to explore your struggles.

I will always situate our work within a wider cultural and political context – you will never be pathologised or individualised. From me, you can expect a warm, trauma-informed, kink-affirming, anti-capitalist, queer friendly and anti-oppressive therapy rooted in principles of transformative justice.

I am a practitioner of an embodied movement practice called Contact Improvisation, where the qualities of presence, attention and deep listening inform my practice of therapy.

With so many of us affected by the horrors facing the planet today, I admire and commend your decision to spend time with your inner process. I look forward to accompanying you on that journey.

I’m a student member of COSRT, the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.

Online sessions with Aisling cost £35 for individuals and £55 for couples.

ALLY WARING

Sex and relationships are at the heart of who we are and how we connect. Our minds and bodies are just as intertwined - yet too often they’re treated separately or pushed aside.

I work with the whole of you, using flexible and creative approaches to gently untangle whatever you bring, with warmth, openness, and clarity.

I work online and in person in North London.

As a queer woman living with a chronic condition, I know what it’s like to feel othered.

And as a qualified personal trainer, I can also integrate body-based exercises to help you reconnect with yourself.

My experience includes crisis services, a domestic violence and sexual abuse charity, and training in Trauma Informed Practice – enabling me to support complex and sensitive experiences with care.

Whatever you bring, you’ll be met with curiosity, compassion, and a belief that change is possible.

I’m a Student member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.

Whether it's uncovering emotional patterns or addressing intimacy concerns, I adapt my approach to suit your needs, helping you build healthier connections and a deeper understanding of the dynamics at play.

I work online and in person in Bristol.

I work with people deeply, recognising the importance of relationships, empathy in connection, and intimacy as vital components for our healing, happiness and growth.

As a Relationship Therapist, I draw from various models of therapy to recognise the uniqueness of each partner. However, when working with relationships, my primary client is the relationship and doing what is most beneficial to navigate complexities with professionalism and empathy.

As a Psychosexual Therapist, I can help you process past influences that may be affecting you, as well as issues that might be purely physical. My intention in working with you is that you receive professional, skilful help – there’s only so far we can get on our own. I want you to feel empowered to make a change, in a way that feels right for you.

I bring tools and techniques, intuition and experience to offer useful interventions and fresh approaches.

EMMA BAKER

Whoever you are and however you love, I’m here to offer a supportive space to help you find clarity, confidence, and greater connection.

Sexual and relational wellbeing is fundamental to who we are. I believe everyone deserves a non-judgemental, inclusive space to explore intimacy, desire, and identity at their own pace.

I work online only.

I welcome a broad range of relationship styles, orientations, and erotic expressions, and aim to create a shame-free environment for addressing everything from desire discrepancies to deeper emotional or sexual awareness.

From personal insight, I understand the value of a therapist who’s comfortable with alternative relationship styles—even if they’re not the central focus of therapy. My approach is relaxed, down to earth, and becaue I work exclusively online, I work with people all over the world.

I’m a Student member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.

Online sessions with Emma cost £35 for individuals and £55 for couples.

B&W photo of Erica Paraiso, Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist in training offering low cost sex and relationship therapy

ERICA PARAISO

Sex, intimacy and closeness are basic human needs, but it is often difficult to express our needs, wants, desires and expectations to our partners, and even to ourselves.

It may feel impossible to ask for the help we need from professionals to address physiological and psychological matters that affect our sexual health and wellbeing.

I work in person in Queens Square in Bristol.

I’m a listener and a teller of stories.

I became a therapist because I could not (and still can’t) think of any work more valuable and exciting than to listen to people’s stories to help to bring new sense, meaning, and understanding to their life stories, events and lived experiences by holding the space to work at depth with personal and relational narratives. My core training is in Systemic Relationship Therapy; my heart and soul training is in Compassion Focused Therapy.

I’m an experienced grief counsellor and an adoption counsellor.

I’m in the final months of training as a Psychosexual Therapist. Alongside this, I am working towards a Diploma in Compulsive Sexual Behaviour, which I will also complete in a few months.

I work with individuals, people in traditional couples and those in multipartnered relationships. I have years of experience working with neurodiverse people, people from marginalised racial and sexual backgrounds and people in international/intercultural relationships.

My work is trauma-informed and sex positive. I work with you in the way that suits you best to co-create your desired outcomes. I enjoy bringing elements of the creative arts to my work. So if you’re up for it, we can use the art materials that I have available in my sessions to explore your story.

I’m a Student member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists. I am also an accredited member of The National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists.

I believe that the sun always shines above the clouds: my job is to help you part the dark clouds to let the sunshine in.

In-person sessions cost £40 for individuals and £60 for couples/multiple partner relationships.

B&W photo of Eshana Spiers, Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist in training offering low cost sex and relationship therapy

ESHANA SPIERS

I offer a space where you are invited to slow down and gently explore the often tender and sometimes complex terrain of sex and relationships.

Together, we will explore your experiences, desires, and concerns with care and curiosity. I will support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself and in moving towards the kind of sex and relationships that feel right for you.

I work in person in London Bridge.

So many of us were never given a healthy or affirming model for sexuality and relating. As a result, we can carry unspoken longings, fears, or anxieties that leave us disconnected from what we both want and need.

Connection, intimacy, and sexuality have always been at the heart of my work.

Over the years, I’ve worked as a Psychosexual Coach, taught relationships and sex education in schools, delivered consent workshops at Cambridge University, and managed a sexual health drop‑in service for young people. This breadth of experience allows me to offer a space that is safe, grounded, and compassionate.

I support people with a wide range of concerns, including low desire or arousal, pain during sex, orgasm difficulties, erection concerns, premature or delayed ejaculation, questions around sexuality or gender identity, navigating kinks and fetishes, compulsive sexual behaviours, and sexual health worries.

I’m about to complete a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy, and I’m a Student member of COSRT, the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.

In-person sessions with Eshana cost £40 for individuals and £60 for couples.

EVIE PLUMB

I know how important it is to have a safe, non-judgmental space to explore feelings and experiences, especially around sex and relationships. For me, it’s all about breaking down barriers and creating space for open, positive conversations – without leaving anyone out of the conversation.

My practice is inclusive of people of all identities, backgrounds, and experiences.

I work in person in Brighton and Hove.

My background is in adult sex education, where I support people who’ve been let down by inadequate sex ed (most of us, right?!).

That said, I’m not here to act as the expert. I will work collaboratively with you to explore sexual and relational concerns in a shame-free, sex-positive and affirming way.

I have particular knowledge and lived experience in neurodivergence, and I aim to offer a space that feels especially accessible and understanding for neurodivergent clients.

I’m just about to complete my training as a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist at the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology. As well this, I’m the founder of Cliterally The Best. The goal of this project is to assist adults who have been let down by their inadequate sex education and help them unlearn the misconceptions surrounding their bodies and sexuality in a shame-free way.

I’m a Student member of CORST, the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists

I work online and in person in North London.

I am committed to offering inclusive, affirming therapy that recognises and supports the many ways people experience and express sexuality and connection.

My approach is integrative, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic models, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), to tailor our work to your unique needs and preferences.

I have a background in healthcare and am currently training as a Dietitian, as well as a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist. This gives me a holistic understanding of how physical health, emotional wellbeing and relational dynamics often intertwine. This perspective informs my work, especially when supporting clients navigating issues related to body image, sexual functioning, self-esteem, or the impact of life stage transitions on intimacy and relationships.

Talking about sex and relationships can feel daunting — but you don’t have to do it alone.

My role as a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist is to support you in exploring these challenges in a way that feels open, respectful, and right for you.

I work online only

I work with both individuals and couples to overcome difficulties such as vaginismus, rapid ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, low desire or desire discrepancy, and issues around sexual exploration, to name a few.

I also work with couples facing challenges in their relationship, for example, to improve communication, find healthier ways to resolve conflict, overcome infidelity and rediscover your connection.

Whatever the concern, I aim to create a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and supported.

My professional background spans NLP, hypnosis, personal training, and health coaching, where I have worked closely with people on both physical and emotional levels.

My lived experience of recovering from body dysmorphia and eating disorders has given me a profound appreciation of how the body holds emotional memory, and how trauma, social narratives, and internalised shame can shape our sense of self, sexuality, and relationships. This insight has guided me to adopt a compassionate, non-pathologising approach when exploring clients’ bodily and sexual experiences.

If you are seeking a therapist who will work collaboratively with you, with warmth, openness, and respect, I am here to help you explore your challenges, build confidence, and move towards a more fulfilling relationship with yourself and with others.

I work online at the moment. Starting from January 2026, I will be offering in-person sessions in London.

MARIJE BAAN

Being intimate with someone – whether emotionally, sexually, or spiritually – can be a beautiful and fulfilling experience. Yet, for most of us, this kind of closeness does not come easily.

As a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist in training, I am here to navigate these complexities with you.

I offer a space where you can be real, explore your questions and struggles, and connect with your desires.

I work online only, so I can meet you wherever you are in the UK and Europe.

Having worked as a medical doctor for more than seven years, I have seen how profoundly relationships affect our well-being: relational stress can make us ill, while safe and loving connections can calm the nervous system and support healing. This insight inspired me to train as a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist, so I can support people in creating authentic and meaningful relationships.

The way I work is relational and holistic; I aim to connect to you as a whole person, honouring the many layers of your life.

I draw inspiration from a range of approaches, including Gestalt, Internal Family Systems, Jungian psychology, and existential therapy. Furthermore, I deeply believe in the body’s wisdom and how awareness of sensations can help us feel more grounded, present, and true to ourselves. I integrate this into my practice by using insights from meditation, mindfulness, and somatic approaches.

My background includes international work in the humanitarian field, particularly in the area of sexual and reproductive health. These experiences have made me very comfortable working across cultures, religions, and life contexts.

I also bring lived experience of intercultural, interfaith and long-distance relationships, and I understand the particular challenges and richness they can bring.

Whatever your story may hold, you will be met with openness, kindness and respect. I celebrate diversity and look forward to getting to know you and your unique walk of life.

I’m a Student Member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists, and a Registered Medical Doctor with the Dutch Medical Board (KNMG).

Online sessions with Marije cost £35 for individuals and £55 for couples.

MARY OXBOROUGH CLARKE

Finding the right person to talk to can be tricky, especially when it comes to talking about sex and relationships.

As a mother and military spouse, I have experienced challenges in both these areas, and understand the importance of having a safe and open space to explore and move forward positively.

I work online and in person in Bristol and Oxford.

Each person is unique, and the therapy we offer them should be bespoke to them and their needs. This is why I take an integrative approach to practice.

Grounded in empathy, I combine techniques from different therapeutic schools of thought allowing me to provide tailored support that meets each individual’s unique needs. It allows for the exploration of desires, encourages self-awareness, and I hope fosters healing and growth.

I strongly believe in accessibility. Every individual should have the opportunity to have flourishing sexual and relational experiences irrespective of their background or identity.

I started my therapy journey with Cruse, a bereavement charity. I supported clients who were in the depths of grief and loss. I saw firsthand the impact a compassionate and dedicated ear could offer and how such an experience can fundamentally change who we are and how we relate to others.

I hold a Foundation Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy and I’m now in my final year of the London Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy

I’m a Student member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.

Online sessions with Mary cost £35 for individuals and £55 for couples. In-person sessions in Bristol cost £40 for individuals and £60 for couples.

Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences, beliefs, and patterns might shape your present relationships and sexual wellbeing. I see relationships as mirrors that reflect both our vulnerabilities and our strengths, offering us the chance to grow and understand ourselves more deeply.

I celebrate and affirm all expressions of identity and relationship styles. I have experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQI+ clients and those who are neurodiverse, as well as anyone exploring alternative ways of loving and connecting.

My work is guided by an understanding of trauma and shame, and I strive to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and free of judgment.

Mindfulness is also an important part of my practice, helping you tune into your own experience and build a more authentic connection with yourself. I believe that self-awareness is at the heart of healthy, fulfilling relationships, both with others and within ourselves.

Above all, I’m here to meet you where you are and to walk alongside you as you navigate the complexities of intimacy, desire, and connection—so you can build the kind of relationships and life that feel most meaningful to you.

I’m a Student member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.

In-person sessions in Bath and Bristol with Tara cost £40 for individuals and £60 for couples.

WINNIE HUGHES

I’m passionate about creating a safe, non-judgmental space for folks to explore any complexities surrounding intimacy and relationships that they wish to bring.

And I’m deeply inspired by the belief that navigating the complexities of intimacy, desire, and connection is vital to our overall well-being.

I work online only.

I view relationships as mirrors that reflect our strengths and weaknesses, offering us opportunities for growth and self-discovery.

Before training as a psychosexual and relationship therapy, I worked for four years as an Occupational Therapist in the NHS. This experience allowed me to approach people holistically, understanding the profound impact that our daily activities have on our wellbeing and sense of identity.

Following this, I trained as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), a modality that complements psychosexual and relationship therapy by focusing on the interplay between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.

With eight years’ experience working in the NHS, I’ve had the privilege of supporting a diverse range of individuals. My work has included providing therapy for LGBTQI+ folks, individuals with neurodiversity, and those who have experienced trauma. My experience has shaped my understanding of the unique challenges and strengths that each person brings to therapy.

In addition to my CBT training, I have trained in Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I incorporate these approaches to help clients develop self-compassion, accept their experiences, and commit to actions that align with their values. My personal practice of mindfulness further enriches my therapeutic work, enabling individuals to tune in to themselves, which I believe is imperative for forming healthy, fulfilling relationships.

I strive to create a therapeutic space that respects the complexity of each individual’s journey, helping them to build stronger connections with themselves and others.
